Seven's Hack-a-Wrong Dilemma - Reflective Writing

Reflective Writing #4

Picture from https://www.digitalcompass.org/game/index.html
This is a picture of Seven when he wins the competition and comes in 1st
place by working hard, not cheating (asking permission), having an
original invention, and staying on track (or atleast trying to).

This time I found that I played with the positive decisions first because I wanted to know which choices would lead me to a good outcome. I think I did this so in real life if I ever had to face a similar situation I would make those same decisions or at least decisions similar to them so that I can be successful in the situation. Some lessons that stood out to me when I was playing Seven's Hack-a-Wrong Dilemma was that if you truly want to achieve something you must put forth your utmost effort into it. You have to spend a lot of time and patience on trying to achieve your goal. This lesson applies to my own life because I have goals like everybody else and I want to achieve them. In order to do that I will follow and comply the morals and lessons conveyed in this scenario.

Hutch's Kung Fu Dilemma - Reflective Writing

Reflective Writing #2

Playing with negative outcomes, even the far-fetched and absurd ones, can help us apply new thinking to the real world because we become more aware. When I played the scenarios in Digital Compass and dealt with the situations they were facing I purposely chose all of the wrong choices first because I was curious of the negative outcomes. I wanted to know what situations would arise due to my foolish actions. Now that I've seen what could happen I am much more alert of what I post on social media, for example i'm definitely not going tell all of my friends that i'm an amazing dancer because that's not true at all. People post things that aren't true all the time to impress people and for many other purposes. Maybe if those people saw what happened to Hutch they wouldn't have done that because obviously they wouldn't want that to happen to them in real life. This is how playing with negative outcomes can help us apply new thinking to the real world.

This is what happened to Hutch after he lied about being a Kung Fu master. Instead of
fessing up and telling everybody the truth he decide to do some crazy Kung Fu
stunt, as a result of that he got injured and is now in the hospital.

Wink's Internship Dilemma - Reflective Writing

Reflective Writing #1

Today I followed Wink in her journey to earn the Internship at Awesome Ads LLC. She isn't
the only one after that internship though, she has to compete with her best friend Pepper.
Out of all of the good decisions the only bad decision I made was the one below, making a
meme with Pepper in it. Later on I did choose to take down the meme which caused Pepper and Wink to work together and they came up with a great design that Awesome Ads
LLC loved. That was a good thing to do because if I hadn't done that then Pepper and Wink would have became enemies, and that would have been really bad. Even though there was only one position available they made an exception and gave both of them the job. I truly believe that the situation portrayed in Wink's story is very applicable to real life because it can happen happen to anybody. In order to get something a person desires he/she will probably do anything to get it. And sometimes because of that problems can be created between them and the people they care about. They might get what they want but at what cost the price would be too high. This is how the moral conveyed in Wink's dilemma is relevant or significant to the real world. It teaches you about digital footprints and how you should be aware of yours and have a positive image of yourself.

This is the bad decision that I made. I chose to make a meme with Pepper
in it and that is what led me astray, because it caused Wink and Pepper,
who had been lifelong friends, to start fighting each other.
